TAMPA, Fla. – The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a 10-year-old boy in Tampa.
On Monday, October 12, 2020, at 4:35 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the 4000 block of Dreisler Street in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, deputies discovered a 10-year-old victim who was pronounced dead at the scene.
At the Press Conference tonight, Hillsborough County Sheriff PIO Natalia Verdina said, “Detectives are interviewing family members in the home and they are cooperating.”
“The 10-year-old boy suffered injuries consistent with gunshot wounds,” Verdina added.
