HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – Hillsborough County sheriff’s deputies arrested a 28-year-old Canadian woman during a traffic stop on West Hillsborough Avenue after finding a dozen driver’s licenses bearing her photograph under various names and birth dates.
Deputies pulled over Bryce Swanson on July 29, 2026. During the initial encounter, Swanson falsely identified herself as Brianna Valenzuela and claimed to hold a valid driver’s license.
She later told deputies she did not have an ID on her and had never held a valid driver’s license.
A search of Swanson’s vehicle uncovered 12 driver’s licenses, each displaying her photo paired with different names and dates of birth. Investigators subsequently determined that Swanson is a Canadian citizen who had overstayed her visa in the United States.
Swanson was taken into custody and faces multiple charges, including Fraudulent Use of Personal Information Over $5,000 or 10 but Less Than 20 Victims.
