POLK COUNTY, Fla. – Traffic enforcement on Interstate 4 is rarely quiet, but a Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputy had a literal “Dull” moment just after midnight on Friday. According to deputies, 19-year-old Mileena Alyssa Dull of Eagle Lake was arrested after a high-speed encounter on the highway.
At around 12:28 a.m. on June 26, 2026, a deputy spotted a black 2023 Mazda sedan moving at an extreme rate of speed near mile marker 48 in the Lake Alfred area.
Radar pacing initially clocked the Mazda at 118 mph in a 70-mph zone. As the deputy moved in to initiate a traffic stop, the vehicle accelerated even further, hitting 120 mph before finally pulling over.
The driver was identified as Mileena Dull. When asked about the excessive speed, Dull told the deputy she “didn’t realize that she was going so fast.”
She also offered an explanation for the midnight sprint, stating she “just got the car recently and wanted to see how fast it could go.”
While Dull found out exactly what the Mazda was capable of, the test drive ended right there on the shoulder of the interstate. Dull was taken into custody without further incident and charged with misdemeanor Dangerous Excessive Speeding.
