TAMPA, Fla. – The South Tampa Chamber of Commerce is hosting their 15th Annual Taste of South Tampa on Sunday, May 2, presented by Older, Lundy, Alvarez & Koch.
For the fourth year, the Tampa Garden Club will be transformed into an outdoor festival offering live entertainment, delicious food samples from local restaurants, a beer garden, and the opportunity to win prizes.
The chamber’s president, Kelly Flannery, said, “We are thrilled to have so many restaurants return again this year including last year’s people’s choice winner, Flames Indian Cuisine, as well as new additions like Cru Cellars, Sarge’s BBQ, Brass Tap and The Hatchery. Guests will also enjoy a beer garden featuring White Claw and beer selections from Pepin Distributing including Stella Artois and Floridian Hefeweizen.
VIPs will get a “taste” from Steelbach, Forbici Modern Italian, Hotel Haya, and cocktails from Cutwater Spirits. With more than 25 food and beverage options at the event, there is truly something for everyone and the inclusive price gives attendees the opportunity to try a little bit of everything.”
This year’s event will be limited attendance to allow for social distancing in addition to other health and safety protocols that will be available such as increased hand washing and hand sanitizing stations.
The ticket price is all inclusive and includes: Unlimited food and beverage samples, live entertainment, give-aways from business exhibitors and voting for the “Best of South Tampa” awards. Guests will also have the opportunity to mix and mingle with celebrity judges including MasterChef’s Jeff Philbin.
Pre-sale ticket prices are available online at www.TasteofSouthTampa.com. ($50.00 General Admission, $40.00 Military, Kids Under 10 Free). Tickets will also be available for purchase at the door on the day of the event ($60.00 General Admission). VIP tickets are also available during pre-sale only.
