TAMPA, FL. – Around 7:23 pm on Friday, March 25, 2022, Tampa Police Department’s Emergency Communication Center got word of a shooting in the 8400 block of Mission Ct.
Officers did not find anyone hurt at that location, but after another caller reported a man down in the area, officers located unresponsive 18-year-old suffering from gunshot wounds in the 8400 block of Rio Bravo Ct, just south of Mission Ct.
He was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Detectives are asking anyone who may have information about this shooting to call Crimestoppers at 1-800-847-TIPS. The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
