SPRING HILL, FL. – An 18-year-old Spring Hill man was killed in a crash that happened around 4:30 pm on Thursday in Spring Hill.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, the 18-year-old Spring Hill man was traveling eastbound on Spring Hill Drive, west of Pinehurst Drive, when he lost control of the car.
Troopers say the car traveled across the median and westbound lanes, entering the north shoulder where the vehicle collided with a tree and utility pole before coming to a stop.
Investigators say the man was transported to an area hospital but later died from injuries suffered during the crash.
