2-Dead in Pinellas Park Corvette Accident Overnight

PINELLAS PARK, Fla. – On Friday night, at approximately 9:30 p.m., Pinellas Park Police officers were dispatched to a crash in the 10100 Block of MCI Drive.  Upon arrival, a single-vehicle crash was located where the two subjects involved were pronounced deceased on the scene.

Through investigation, it was learned the single-vehicle failed to negotiate a turn on MCI Drive and left the roadway striking a tree.  Both occupants of the vehicle, a Corvette, were pronounced deceased on the scene.

The occupants’ identities will be withheld at this time to complete proper notification to next of kin.  It is unknown at this time if impairment was a factor in this crash.

This investigation is still active and if any other information is learned it will be released when available.
