TAMPA, Fla. – The Tampa Police Department is conducting a shooting investigation on the 1700 block of N Dale Mabry Highway near I-275.
According to police, an altercation between individuals in two separate vehicles occurred just before 9 PM on Thursday, leading to an exchange of gunfire.
Officers located two adult black males with gunshot wounds.

The second vehicle involved fled southbound on Dale Mabry from the scene.
The incident appears to be targeted, not a random act of violence. The shooting victims who remained on the scene were transported to a local hospital.
