PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – A 21-year-old Wesley Chapel man and a 20-year-old Odessa man, were killed Tuesday, in an accident on Route 54 in Odessa.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, just after 12:00 PM, an SUV was traveling northbound Altamont Lane, stopped at a stop sign at the intersection of SR-54 in Odessa.
The Wesley Chapel man was traveling eastbound on SR-54 at a high rate of speed when the SUV entered the intersection in an attempt to turn left onto westbound SR-54.
Troopers say, the motorcycle collided with the drivers side of the SUV, and that the driver suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
The driver of the SUV, a 20-year-old man from Odessa, was transported to a local hospital but died from injuries sustained.
