2-People Shot Overnight Tampa Police Investigate Shooting

TAMPA, Fla. – Tampa Police were dispatched to the report of shots heard in the area of N. 32nd St and E. Caracas St at 8:25 PM, Tuesday night. While enroute, responding officers were informed by dispatchers of additional calls coming in regarding multiple gunshot victims in the 5000 block of N. 32nd St. Upon arrival, officers located three victims.

Two victims suffered non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. Victim #3 suffered a critical gunshot wound to the upper body. All three were transported to a nearby hospital by Tampa Fire Rescue, where victim #3 succumbed to her injuries.

It is very early in the investigation and detectives are working to develop leads. Currently, suspect information is limited to what has been described as three males in dark clothing. Detectives ask anyone in the area who may have surveillance cameras to review their footage and contact Tampa Police with any video that may assist in the investigation.
