22-Year-Old Lakeland Woman Dies In Pinellas County Crash When Ejected From SUV

PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – A 22-year-old Lakeland woman has died in a crash that happened on Sunday around 8:30 pm.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, the SUV was traveling southbound on the I-275 exit ramp to 28th Street when the woman failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway. 

Troopers say the vehicle departed the roadway, entered the inside shoulder, collided with a guardrail, and overturned.

As the vehicle overturned, the 22-year-old woman was ejected from the SUV and suffered fatal injuries at the crash scene.
