22-Year-Old New Port Richey Man Killed in Pasco County Hit and Run

NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. – UPDATE: Suspect Identified– Florida Highway Patrol is seeking the publics’ help with information on a Christmas evening hit and run in Pasco County.

Troopers say a 22-year-old man, from New Port Richey, was walking north in the outside lane of U.S. 19 near Manor Drive when a car entered the turn lane striking the pedestrian. The man suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash, while the vehicle fled the scene.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, the car is believed to be a white Audi A6 that will have noticeable front-end damage to the car.
