Suspect Who Shot And Killed 25-Year-Old Woman Arrested

ST. PETERSBURG, FL. – A 25-year-old woman has died after gunshot wounds claimed her life early Sunday morning, and police the suspect in custody.

According to police, at approximately 1:30 a.m. today, a woman was dropped off at the emergency room with gunshot wounds. The victim, Tytaquisha Pearson, 25, died several hours later from her injuries.

The hospital notified police and detectives were actively investigating to determine where the shooting occurred.

The suspect, 25-year-old Jerrell Sha’ron Hall, is in custody and charged with 1st-degree murder for shooting 25-year-old Tytaquisha Pearson.

Investigators say Tampa police had arrested Hall earlier Sunday on an unrelated charge. He will be brought to Pinellas County to face charges.
