26-Year-Old Zephyrhills Man Has Died From Injuries Sustained, Motorcycle Accident

BROOKSVILLE, Fla. – According to Florida Highway Patrol, a 26-year-old Zephyrhills man suffered critical injuries in a motorcycle accident on Sunday afternoon.

Troopers say, just after 2 p,.m., the man was traveling southbound on a motorcycle along the southbound I-75 entrance ramp from SR-50. The man accelerated rapidly and merged onto I-75. He traveled across all three southbound lanes, entered the median, and collided with the median guardrail. Upon impact, the 26-year-old man was ejected from the motorcycle and suffered critical injuries. The man was transported to a local hospital and later died from injuries sustained.
