27-Year-Old Riverview Man Killed in Early Morning I-75 and Selmon Crash

RIVERVIEW, Fla. – A 27-year-olf Riverview man was killed in a crash on I-75 northbound early Friday morning.

Troopers say the crash happened just after 4:30 AM Friday, as the driver, a 23-year-old man from Riverview, failed to negotiate the curve in the roadway on the Selmon Expressway exit.

The car departed the roadway and overturned, during which time the passenger was ejected from the vehicle and suffered fatal injuries at teh scene of the crash.

The driver was partially ejected from the vehicle, suffered serious injuries, and was transported to an area hospital.
