ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a drowning incident that happened in St. Petersburg Saturday evening.
PCSO Deputies responded to a home in the area of 71st Street North and Orkney Avenue North near the Bonnie Bay community around 6 pm Saturday.
The sheriff’s office said that a 3-year-old child was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Authorities did not immediately say what led to the drowning.
