Florida Crash Into House

30-Year-Old Florida Man Goes Airborne And Crashes Into Home Overnight

A 30-year-old Florida man sustained serious injuries after his SUV went airborne and crashed into a home early Friday morning.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, the man was traveling southbound on US-301 approaching El Paso Drive when, for an unknown reason, he lost control of the vehicle which crossed the center median and northbound lanes.

Troopers say he entered the outside shoulder, and the SUV became airborne and first struck a concrete barrier wall before finally colliding with a residential trailer located at 10719 Rice Creek Drive in Riverview.

Two residents, a male and female adult, occupied the home when the crash occurred and suffered minor injuries.

The 30-year-old driver from Wimauma suffered serious injuries in the crash.
