POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A 35-year-old Bradley, Florida, woman was killed in a crash on I-4 early Sunday morning.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, just after 3 AM, the woman was traveling eastbound on I-4 near milepost 53 when she lost control of the vehicle.
The car rotated into the median, overturned, and collided with several trees before coming to a stop. The woman was ejected from the vehicle and suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
The woman was not wearing a seatbelt.
The only passenger in the vehicle, a 36-year-old woman from Valrico, suffered only minor injuries and was wearing her seatbelt.
