Travelers looking to book their winter escapes and early spring vacations can now secure their seats nearly a year in advance. Avelo Airlines announced on Wednesday that it has extended its Central Florida flight schedule through March 2, 2027.
The schedule extension specifically targets the peak February and early spring travel windows. According to the airline, one-way fares for the newly available routes start at $39, with reservations currently open on the company’s website.
The expansion applies to all six Central Florida airports currently served by the carrier. These locations include Daytona Beach International Airport (DAB), Southwest Florida International Airport in Fort Myers (RSW), Lakeland International Airport (LAL), Orlando International Airport (MCO), Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (SRQ), and Tampa International Airport (TPA).
“Central Florida residents — it’s time to start planning your next getaway,” said Trevor Yealy, Avelo Airlines Head of Commercial. “We’re excited to extend Avelo’s flight schedule through March 2, 2027, giving travelers even more time to take advantage of our affordable fares and industry-leading reliability. Yealy noted that the carrier’s network connects local travelers to a variety of destinations, “from sun-soaked shores and scenic outdoor escapes to buzzing cities filled with culture, food, and entertainment.”
Depending on the specific departure airport, Central Florida flyers can access nonstop flights to nine destinations across the United States and the Caribbean. The roster of available endpoints includes Atlanta, Georgia; Charlotte/Concord, North Carolina; Detroit, Michigan; Grand Rapids, Michigan; Nashville, Tennessee; New Haven, Connecticut; Philadelphia/Wilmington, Delaware; Rochester, New York; and San Juan, Puerto Rico.
For those unfamiliar with the low-cost carrier’s branding, the airline notes that its name officially rhymes with “yellow” or “jello.” Flight availability and specific route schedules vary by airport.
