39-Year-Old Port Richey Man Killed Sunday After Being Struck By A Pickup Truck On US 19

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – A 39-year-old Port Richey man was killed Sunday around 12:45 pm, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers say a pickup truck was traveling northbound on US-19, north of Gordon Drive, as the Port Richey man was attempting to cross the highway.

The man entered the path of the pickup truck and was struck.

FHP says the man was transported to an area hospital, but later died from injuries sustained
during the crash.

A 25-year-old Hudson man, who was driving the pickup truck, sustained no injuries.
