Four lucky Floridians have officially joined the millionaire’s club, taking home millions in lump-sum payments from scratch-off tickets purchased in July. The Florida Lottery released the names of the winners this week following the state’s mandatory 90-day anonymity period for prizes exceeding $250,000.
Leading the pack of new multi-millionaires is 68-year-old Ramon Cabo of Lakewood Ranch. Cabo hit the top prize in the “$10,000 A WEEK FOR LIFE” game.
He purchased the life-changing $20 ticket at the Walmart on East State Road 64 in Bradenton. Rather than waiting for weekly installments, Cabo opted for the one-time, lump-sum payment of $7,752,000. The game offers some of the best odds for high-tier payouts, with overall odds of winning any prize sitting at 1-in-2.96.

South Florida Wins Big
Farther south, a Wellington resident turned a quick stop at a gas station into a multi-million dollar payday. Shuangjie Fan, 31, won the top prize in the “$5,000 A WEEK FOR LIFE” game.
Fan bought the winning ticket at the Wellington Marathon on South State Road 7. Like Cabo, Fan bypassed the weekly checks in favor of a bulk payment, taking home $3,897,000.
In Miami-Dade and Broward counties, two more players cashed in significant tickets:
- Juan Bonilla, 48, of Miami: Bonilla won the $2 million top prize playing the “SILVER STREAK” game. He purchased his ticket at Exprezo on N.W. 54th Street in Miami. He walked away with a lump sum of $1,195,000.
- Tricia Richardson Roberts, 46, of Lauderhill: Richardson Roberts won the top prize in the “$1,000 A WEEK FOR LIFE” game. Her lucky $2 ticket came from a Publix on North Pine Island Road in Plantation. She accepted a lump-sum payment of $779,200.

All winners claimed their prizes at lottery district offices throughout July 2025. Under Florida law, the lottery grants winners a 90-day window of public anonymity before releasing their names and cities of residence.
