43-Year-Old Florida Man Killed After Losing Control Of Motorcycle On I-75

FHP Troopers Florida Highway Patrol

HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla. – A 43-year-old man from Webster, Florida, was killed in a crash that happened around 7:45 pm on I-75 in Hernando County.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, the man was traveling northbound on I-75, just north of SR-50 (Cortez Blvd).

Troopers say the man, riding at a high rate of speed, lost control of the bike, traveled to the median, and collided with the guardrail.

The rider suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash, Troopers say.
