HUDSON, Fla. – A 43-year-old New Port Richey man was killed overnight in crash that happened on U.S. 19.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, around 8:45 PM, an van was traveling northbound on US-19 approaching Tower Drive, and turned left into the path of the motorcycle that was heading southbound.
The New Port Richey man was transported to an area hospital but later died from injuries sustained in the crash.
The driver of the van, a 67-year-old woman from Grand Rapids, Michigan sustained only minor injuries.
