LAKELAND, FL. – A 47-year-old Lakeland man was killed in a crash that happened around 3:20 am on Saturday.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, the Lakeland man was driving an Audi A4 northbound on State Road 549, just north of South Lake Silver Drive.
Troopers say the man lost control of the vehicle and collided with a tree in the median of the roadway.
Investigators say the man suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
