51-Year-Old Inverness Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash Tuesday

CITRUS COUNTY, Fla. – A 51-year-old Inverness man was killed Tuesday, just after 5:00 PM, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers say the man was traveling eastbound in the outside lane on SR-44, on a motorcycle. The man slowed to complete a right turn onto southbound
East Boy Scout Road.

Investigators sat the man lost control of the motorcycle which overturned onto the roadway.

The man suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
