WINTER HAVEN, FL. – A 53-year-old Winter Haven man was killed after being struck by a car while riding a bicycle.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, around 6:44 pm on Wednesday, a 36-year-old Winter Haven woman was driving southbound on 7th Street SW.
The Winter Haven man was also riding southbound on 7th Street SW when the woman overtook the bicycle and collided with the rear of it.
Troopers say the man suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
