PASCO COUNTY, FL. – A 53-year-old Zephyrhills man has died after being struck by a motorcycle Tuesday night.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, a motorcycle driven by a 33-year-old Zephyrhills man was traveling westbound on Rt 54, west of Forbes Road.
Troopers say the 53-year-old man was walking northbound across Rt 54 and walked into the path of the motorcycle.
The motorcycle collided with the man who suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
Troopers said the motorcycle departed the roadway, with the rider falling off and colliding with the brush on the shoulder.
The motorcycle rider suffered serious injuries in the crash.
