65-Year-Old Brooksville Man Killed In Monday Motorcycle Crash

BROOKSVILLE, FL. – A 65-year-old Brooksville man was killed in a crash Monday while riding a motorcycle, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers say an SUV was traveling northbound on Jefferson Street north of Marianne St.and the motorcycle was traveling southbound on Jefferson Street.

According to investigators, the SUV attempted to make a left turn into the parking lot of Florida Cracker Kitchen and entered the path of the motorcycle.

The front of the SUV struck the front of the motorcycle. The 55-year-old man was transported to a local hospital but died from injuries sustained in the crash.
