HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL. – A 55-year-old Riverview man was killed in a crash that happened just before 5:00 am on Tuesday.
Troopers say, as the man approached the intersection at Riga Blvd., he turned left into the path of a pickup truck.
The two vehicles collided with both vehicles rotating to a stop on MLK Jr. Blvd. The 55-year-old man was transported to an area hospital where he died from injuries suffered in the crash.
The driver of the pickup truck, a 54-year-old Tampa woman suffered serious injuries in the crash.
