SPRING HILL, Fla. – A 59-year-old Spring Hill woman was killed Saturday, just after 8:30 PM on Spring Hill Drive, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers say, two pedestrians a 59-year-old woman and a 58-year-old man, both from Spring Hill, were walking southbound across Spring Hill Drive, west of Linden Drive, and entered the path of a van that was traveling eastbound in the outside lane.
As a result, the van collided with both pedestrians, with the woman suffering fatal injuries at the scene of the crash. The Spring Hill man suffered critical injuries and was transported to an area hospital.
The van was driven by a 33-year-old Brooksville woman, who Troopers say, suffered no injuries in the crash.
