PASCO COUNTY, FL. – A 62-year-old Sebastian, Florida man was killed Tuesday, in a crash that happened around 2:12 pm Tuesday.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, the man was driving a pickup truck eastbound on SR-52, east of Shady Hills Road, when he attempted to pass other traffic by entering a left turn lane.
While attempting to pass, the man lost control of the pickup truck which traveled south and traversed the
eastbound lanes of SR-52 entered the south shoulder and collided with the flatbed tractor-trailer that was parked in a construction zone on the roadway shoulder.
Troopers say the man was ejected from the pickup truck and suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
