HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla. – According to Florida Highway Patrol, a 63-year-old man from Honolulu Hawaii died in a single vehicular accident in Hernando County Monday.
Driving an SUV, the man was traveling southbound on I-75 at mile marker 296 when he suffered a medical emergency. The man lost control
of his vehichle which departed the roadway, entered the east shoulder, and collided with a guardrail.
The man was transported to a local hospital but died from his sustained injuries.
