63-Year-Old Pedestrian Killed in St. Pete Crash Overnight

SAINT PETERSBURG, Fla. – A 63-year-old man was killed Thursday night, when crossing the street in St. Pete.

Police say a 2017 Acura SUV, driven by Patricia Ann Holland, 60, was traveling eastbound in the 10000 block of Roosevelt Blvd N, when Jerry Lee Hardison, 63, walked into the roadway and in front of Holland’s SUV. 

Hardison died at the scene from injuries sustained in the crash.

Police say Holland was not injured and is cooperating with the ongoing investigation.

The crash happened near the intersection of Roosevelt Blvd.N & MLK Jr. N.

Roosevelt Blvd was shut down in both directions between 4th St N. and MLK St. N. for the investigation but has since reopened.
