HILLSBOROUGH, COUNTY, Fla. – According to Florida Highway Patrol, a 65-year-old Sarasota man has died in an I-75 car accident just north of Rt. 60 in Hillsborough County Florida.
Troopers say the man was traveling southbound on I-275 at Lois Avenue when he suffered a medical emergency. The man lost control of car which traveled left before the passenger attempted to gain control of the vehicle. The passenger re-directed the car to the right and collided with a concrete barrier wall located along the outside shoulder before coming to final rest.
The 65-year-old man has died from injuries suffered in the crash, the passenger, a 63-year-old St. Pete woman did not sustain injuries in the crash.
