71-Year-Old Man Dies After Pedestrian Crash Sunday

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL- On January 2nd, 2022, at approximately 6:15 PM, officers responded to
the 6550 block of eastbound Park, in Pinellas Park, for a motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian. 

The male pedestrian sustained severe injuries and was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.

Investigators determined a 2018 Subaru Impreza, being riven by Donna Fowler, was traveling east on Park Blvd. 

The male pedestrian stepped off the sidewalk into the vehicle’s path, and Donna Fowler could not stop to avoid the collision.

At this time, the male pedestrian’s information is being withheld pending the notification of next of kin.  Neither alcohol nor speed was a factor in this crash investigation.  Therefore, no criminal charges are pending.
