8-Time Convicted Felon Arrested During Probation Warrant Search In Tampa

TAMPA, Fla. - The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) apprehended an eight-time convicted felon during a probation search.

TAMPA, Fla. – The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) apprehended an eight-time convicted felon during a probation search.

The arrest comes from a joint operation with HCSO and the Florida Department of Corrections.

The sheriff’s office said they want to ensure that people on probation met all their requirements.  

As part of the operation, HCSO performed a search warrant at 6915 Silver Run Drive, Apartment 201, Tampa, FL.

During the search, loaded extended 9mm magazines were discovered in Camarion Richardson’s room during the probation search.

Detectives located a firearm which was later confirmed to be reported stolen from Plant City Police Department jurisdiction in March of this year.

Richardson, 19, was subsequently charged with eight counts of Violation of Probation:

  • Grand Theft Motor Vehicle (X2)
  • Burglary of Dwelling (X2)
  • Battery of Law Enforcement Officer
  • Grand Theft
  • Criminal Mischief
  • Carjacking

In addition to the VOP charges, Richardson faces new charges for Felon in Possession of a Firearm/Ammunition and Possession of Marijuana over 20 grams.
