84-Year-Old Woman Killed In St. Pete Crash, Teens Ran After Collision

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Around 2:30 pm today, a 2012 Toyota driven by St. Petersburg resident Mary E. Rohan, 84, was traveling westbound on 30th Ave South and attempting to turn left onto 34th Street South. 

A 2013 Infinity with five teenagers inside of the car, was going northbound on 34th Street South when the Toyota pulled into the path of the Infinity and they collided.

Police say the teens inside the Infinity exited the vehicle and ran after the crash.

Rohan, the driver of the Toyota, died at the scene of the crash from injuries sustained.

Everyone riding in the Infinity was identified, but investigators are asking anyone who saw the crash or its aftermath to call the St. Petersburg Police Department at 727-893-7780.
