WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – Residents of the Hidden Golf Club neighborhood woke up to a different kind of bogey this past Memorial Day, as a brazen thief made off with both a golf cart and a bicycle from Century Drive in Winter Haven.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is now on the hunt for the suspect, whose late-night caper was caught on surveillance video.

The incident occurred around 11:45 p.m. on Monday, May 26, 2025. The suspect, described as a white or Hispanic male, casually strolled away with a burgundy 2022 Advanced EV golf cart, valued at an estimated $4,000-$5,000, and with the serial number LT-A0077444.
