A Taste Of Epcot, Food and Wine Festival

ORLANDO, Fla. – The 2020 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival starts today, which is also the re-opening day for EPCOT after being closed since mid-March. This marks the 25th Anniversary for the popular festival and it is starting weeks earlier than normal. It is scheduled to go thru sometime in November.

There will be 20+ food & drinks stands to choose from this year with many popular items returning. A complete list follows. Eat to the Beat, the concert series, will not take place this year due to social distancing and seating requirements. Parts of the Flower & Garden Festival will also carry over into this event since it was only open for a few days prior to the EPCOT closing.

Do not look for limited edition festival items right now for the Food & Wine as Disney is behind on production, plus most all of the limited edition items that are new in coming out have been selling online at the Disney store or a special website. Disney even started a raffle system this week on some items as their system frequently crashes from volume and to discourage resellers. As an example, yesterday a special website was set up for the purchase of Disneyland’s 65th Anniversary items at 1pm and there were over 40,000 people in the queue when it opened up for sales with the wait time over 9 hours. 

The festival is touted as a smaller version as in past years, but as you can see, there is a great selection with many choices still available, even some local beverage vendor items will be there.
