A Florida man and woman have been arrested for Methamphetamine trafficking after deputies executed a search warrant at a hotel room.

On Tuesday, July 12, the Leon County Sheriff’s Office’s (LCSO) Narcotics Unit, with the assistance of the
LCSO Uniform Patrol Division, executed a search warrant at a hotel room in the 3000 block of North Monroe Street in Tallahassee.

The search warrant was the result of a narcotics investigation, that identified 44-year-old Timothy Gay as a suspect, connected to several drug-related overdoses in Leon County.

Gay was taken into custody with approximately 37 grams of methamphetamine in his possession.

During the search of the hotel room, registered in Gay’s name, detectives found an additional 89 grams of
methamphetamine and approximately three grams of Fentanyl.

Another suspect, 26-year-old Cierra Roylance, was also located inside the room and arrested. In addition to drug charges, Roylance will face other charges related to several active warrants such as Amphetamine-Traffic or Methamphetamine 14 Grams or Over, Battery, Possession Of Alprazolam, Possession Of Cocaine, Possession Of Controlled Substance, and Possession Of Paraphernalia.

Gay and Roylance were both taken to the Leon County Detention Facility without incident.

“These drugs have proven to be deadly, and we will not tolerate distribution in our community. We ask any citizen aware of drug activity to report it to law enforcement or anonymously to CrimeStoppers at (850) 574-TIPS,” said Sheriff Walt McNeil.
