Anonymous Donor Increases Reward To $10,000 In Fatal Morris Bridge Road Hit And Run

On June 27, 2022, between 4:10 a.m. and 4:40 a.m., an unknown make-model vehicle was traveling northbound on Morris Bridge Road between Fletcher Avenue and Fowler Avenue in Temple Terrace.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – On June 27, 2022, between 4:10 a.m. and 4:40 a.m., an unknown make-model vehicle was traveling northbound on Morris Bridge Road between Fletcher Avenue and Fowler Avenue in Temple Terrace.

At 12110 Morris Bridge Road, in front of Promise Pointe at Tampa Oaks, a driver struck a pedestrian. Investigators believe the victim may have been hit a second time by another unknown make-model vehicle. The elderly male victim died as a result of the injuries he sustained.

Area video surveillance has revealed possible descriptions of the vehicles believed to of been involved in the Fatal Hit N Run. Vehicle 1 is described as a dark color SUV, possibly a Jeep Wrangler. Vehicle 2 is described as a light-colored sedan, possibly white or silver.

The shape of the vehicle resembles a Lincoln Town car or Cadillac Brougham. The rear of the vehicle has a high mount stop light. Both vehicles have glass headlights and were traveling northbound on Morris Bridge Road.

Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of the unknown suspect(s) involved in this case. In addition to the reward offered by Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay, increased reward monies of up to $5,000 are available through an Enhanced Reward by an Anonymous Donor. The tip must come through the Crime Stoppers program and lead to the identification and arrest of the unknown suspect(s) in order to be eligible for the enhanced reward.
