Manhunt Underway After Gunman with Silencer Raids Local RaceTrac
OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – Osceola County Sheriff’s detectives are on the hunt for an armed robber who held up a RaceTrac convenience store earlier this month, making off with cash and leaving employees shaken. The incident, which occurred on June 7, 2024, at the RaceTrac located at 2990 North John Young Parkway, saw a lone suspect display a firearm and demand money from the register.
Authorities report that an unknown Black male, described as wearing a black hat, black t-shirt, black pants, and a blue medical face mask, entered the store.

He then brandished what appeared to be a black handgun with a silencer attached, pointing it directly at an employee. After demanding cash, the suspect watched as the employee placed money from the register into a drawstring backpack.
The suspect then fled the scene. Detectives are currently unsure if he escaped in a vehicle or on foot.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Unit is actively investigating this armed robbery and is urging anyone with information to come forward.
