Federal investigators have released chilling new surveillance footage showing an armed individual outside the home of Nancy Guthrie, the 84-year-old mother of “TODAY” show co-anchor Savannah Guthrie, just before she vanished.

The images, made public by the FBI on Tuesday, show a person wearing a mask, gloves, and a backpack appearing to tamper with the front door camera at Guthrie’s residence near Tucson, Arizona.

FBI Director Kash Patel confirmed that the individual in the footage is considered armed. The video was recovered by technicians using backend data after recording devices at the home were reportedly compromised or removed.

Nancy Guthrie was last seen being dropped off at her home on the night of Jan. 31.

She was reported missing the next morning when she failed to show up for church. As the search enters its tenth day, the FBI stated they have not identified any official suspects and are not aware of any current communication between the family and potential kidnappers.

Savannah Guthrie shared the newly released clips on her Instagram account Tuesday, pleading for the public’s help. Both the family and law enforcement officials say they do not recognize the person in the video.

The FBI is currently offering a $50,000 reward for information that leads to Nancy Guthrie’s recovery. A dedicated webpage has been launched to host the surveillance videos and physical descriptions of the person seen at the door.

In Tucson, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department has requested that residents keep emergency lines open as investigators follow up on new leads.

The White House also addressed the case Tuesday, with Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stating that the administration is following the “heartbreaking” development closely and urging anyone with information to contact the FBI immediately.
