Relative Identifies Suspect Caught on Video Damaging Vehicle

POLK COUNTY, Fla. – An investigation by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) led to the arrest of an Auburndale man earlier today, accused of puncturing all the tires on a woman’s car.

According to PCSO, deputies responded to a report of criminal mischief on Berkley Road in Auburndale. The victim told deputies that all the tires on her vehicle had been damaged and flattened.

Security video obtained from the scene reportedly showed a white male with a red beard using a knife to cause the damage. The victim recognized the individual as Markus Anderson, 30, of Auburndale, the boyfriend of a relative.

Detectives quickly located Anderson at his residence on Diamond Ridge Boulevard, where he was arrested without incident. Anderson faces a charge of criminal mischief.
