POLK COUNTY, Fla.- A Bartow man faces multiple charges after a truck driver spotted him exposing himself on the highway last month.
The investigation began on the afternoon of April 11, 2026. A truck driver was traveling eastbound on State Road 60 between Mulberry and Bartow when he pulled up alongside a white Nissan Rogue.
According to the truck driver, he looked over and saw the driver of the Nissan with his pants down. The truck driver reported that he saw more of the driver than he cared to, noting that the man was exposing himself while driving. Along with the exposure, the truck driver noticed a very large, distinct tattoo on the driver’s forearm.
The truck driver recorded the Nissan’s license plate number and gave it to a Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputy.

A detective used the tag number to trace the vehicle and identified the driver as 57-year-old Quintin Woody, a registered Florida sexual offender. Investigators confirmed that Woody has a large forearm tattoo that matches the description given by the truck driver.
As detectives looked further into Woody’s record, they discovered he had failed to disclose all of his required information during his official state registration procedures.
Woody was arrested and faces one misdemeanor count of exposure of a sexual organ and six felony counts of failure to comply with sexual offender registration.
