ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla. – It was a busy Thursday for the Pasco Sheriff’s Office Agriculture Unit, as deputies found themselves rounding up quite the cast of barnyard characters wandering loose in Zephyrhills.
The first discovery came this morning around 10:30 a.m., when the Ag Unit located a lone pig in the 8700 block of 23rd Street. The wandering porker is currently safe, but deputies are looking for the owner to bring him home.
Later in the afternoon, the squad was back at it. Around 3:35 p.m., deputies responded to Apricot Tree Court, where they found four goats roaming the neighborhood.
The Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone who might be missing their livestock to come forward. To claim the animals, owners must provide proof of ownership.
