Biden Admins Underhanded Work To Go After Parents Goes Largely Unreported

Once again our national media “firefighters” have found a story that’s too hot to handle – because it adversely affects Democrats.

In this case, that would be President Joe Biden, Attorney General Merrick Garland, and Education Secretary Miguel Cardona.

Not a discouraging word about their efforts to use the association as a vehicle to bring the weight of the federal government down on concerned parents could be mined from the major media.

As The Free Press posted on Tuesday, the issue began with Cardona.

The nation’s top education official reportedly asked the National School Boards Association to write its now-infamous letter to Biden that labeled parents “domestic terrorists” and perpetrators of hate crimes for lodging public complaints at school board meetings about left-wing education policies.

The group Parents Defending Education obtained emails through a public records request that showed collusion between departments under Cardona and Garland and the NSBA. Through its letter, sent in September, the group urged Biden to “stop threats and acts of violence against public schoolchildren, public school board members, and other public school district officials and educators,” although it could provide almost no proof this was happening.

Garland promptly promised that the FBI and federal prosecutors would intervene and go after parents who speak out.

The letter was quickly denounced by many state school board associations, including Florida’s, and eventually, the NSBA board, as The Free Press reported, revealed that the letter was sent without its knowledge or approval.

On Wednesday, in yet another major scandal for the Biden administration, the national media gave the public crickets.

The conservative watchdog group Newsbusters reported that ABC’s “World News Tonight,” NBC’s “Nightly News,” and CBS’ “Evening News” all ignored the story.

Additionally, a search of Cardona’s name over the past week on the websites of CNN, The Washington Post, and The New York Times also yielded zero results, as it pertains to the NSBA scandal.

When it comes to the liberal media, to borrow from the Times, Cardona’s efforts to crush dissenting parents is news that’s unfit to print.
