ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Students at Northeast High School have returned to class and regular operations have resumed following a bomb threat investigation in St. Petersburg.
Police had evacuated the campus earlier as a precautionary measure while officers conducted a security sweep of the building and surrounding property. The incident brought a heavy law enforcement presence to the neighborhood, leading to temporary traffic delays.
Authorities have since cleared the scene, confirmed the campus is safe, and reopened all surrounding streets to normal traffic.
