LAKELAND, Fla. – If you haven’t heard the news, Bonnet Springs Park has officially become a new addition to Lakeland! After its opening day on October 22, 2022, it has become a hit among local college students and families.
“My favorite part was that there was so much to do, and with the nice layout of the park, it didn’t feel crowded. It was also very refreshing to be engulfed in nature and walk amongst all the trees.” Keona Chole.
At Bonnet, you’re able to find in-ground slides, playgrounds, “Los Trompos” (Spinning tops) which are spinnable chairs, a treehouse, an outdoor body-weight gym, a butterfly garden, wrap around walkway through the trees, and plenty of walking routes that lead to their dining center, children’s museum, and nature center.
“Bonnet Springs is a wonderful park that merely exemplifies the true beauty that can already be found in Lakeland. It was thoughtfully laid out, with just the right mix of nature with urban elements,” said Spring Iskra.
Bonnet Springs is not only a place of fun, and exercise, but it also can be a place to host a picnic, read a book, or complete work while sitting outside in their spacious plains or their coffee shop.
The next time you are feeling blue, or don’t know what to do, get out in nature by heading to Bonnet Springs Park – bring your family, bring your friends, and go enjoy yourselves.
