PINELLAS PARK, Fla. – A Bradenton man was arrested in Pinellas Park on May 28, 2026, after police say he drove to meet a 15-year-old child for sex.
Christopher Antoniou, 47, was taken into custody after an investigation by the Pinellas Park Police Department. Detectives said they first got a tip that Antoniou was having inappropriate online talks with a minor. That probe later showed he had sent harmful material to the 15-year-old more than once, according to police.
The department said Antoniou then made plans to travel from his home in Bradenton to Pinellas Park to meet the teen for sexual activities. He was arrested after he showed up on May 28.
“The investigation revealed that Antoniou made arrangements to travel to Pinellas Park to meet the 15-year-old minor child for the purposes of engaging in sexual activities,” a department statement read.
Antoniou was booked into the Pinellas County Jail on multiple charges: seduction of a child using the internet or an electronic device, transmission of harmful material to a minor, unlawful use of a two-way communications device, certain computer transmissions prohibited, and traveling to meet a minor.
The investigation is still active, police said. No further details were released immediately.
